A warm welcome
Welcome to Whatcote, a little village nestling in the Vale of the Red Horse. Life is good in Whatcote, we have The Royal Oak, St Peters Church & Community Centre and, most of all, some wonderful people

There has been a settlement here in Whatcote since Roman times and this is now Autumn 2020

Church Open Wednesday 23rd Dec
Wednesday, 23th December - St. Peter’s has been beautifully decorated with festive flower arrangements and will be open from 2pm to 6pm on Wednesday, 23rd December to coincide with the Festive Walk. It will therefore be closed on Thursday, 24th.
Do visit the church. Just remember to wear a face covering and to respect the guidelines on social distancing and use of hand sanitizer. Thank you.
Broadband Update
Despite many efforts by people to get BT to extend fibre to the whole village we have been told there is no money to do this so just wait and see! Otherwise it would mean a sizeable contribution from each house to make it happen, alternative sources of funding are scarce at the moment.
Parish Meeting
Zam Zammett chairman and and Colin Forster clerk. Contact them via email on whatcotechair@gmail.com or at 4 The Orchard and 2 the Orchard respectively.
St. Peter's Church

The Church has complied with government and diocesan guidelines for the safe use of places of worship. Please respect the arrangements and follow the guidance on social distancing, hygiene and the use of face coverings to ensure we all stay safe. Zoomed carol service on December 20th at 6pm!!
